Today we have started to use Adobe Premiere. Now that I used other adobe programs (photoshop, ilustrator) it was actually pretty easy to use Premiere. We covered the basic tools that we must use for our project such as pen tool, slip tool, selection tool and we played around with few meerkats clips to get familiar with the program.
I already thought about my project and I have few ideas for the mass effect trailer. The advantage of this project, is that I can use any clips that involve space ships fighting. It doesn't have to be mass effect clips only. I can even use clips from star wars or star trek.
I did not have a look at the official mass effect trailers yet, so I will probably find ideas and insipration there.
So far my idea involve few clips of space fighting and shepard on the battlefield.

9. Dvd case: creating dvd case - Draft
Today I have finished a draft of my dvd case label.
First of all I would like you to know that the text on the dvd case is not final. The style, colour, font size will change. I also did not include logos such as windows logos that will be there in the final version.
For the background I have used a ready picture of space from google. I changed it slightly by adding few effects so that it would fit my project more.
I cropped out the middle for the spine so that I could fill it with black colour. I decided to do that to separate back and front parts. On the front we basically have shepard with a planet similar to earth behind him. There's the title of the game which is Mass effect 4: The End. As I said previously this text will not look like this in the final version.
Above that we have games for windows label. The logo is not included but it will be added to the final version.
On the back I have used the the latin text generator called Lorem Ipsum. I used it because it looks better than random letters. On the top there will be another mass effect 4. On the right side there is a barcode. In the middle I decided to put few pictures from the game so that it look more professional. Below that there is more of the latin text and at the very bottom there's the original requirements for Mass effect 2 and the rating.
In the spine I will use my logo that I created previously on the bottom. The text once again will look different at the end of the project.
Positioning of the text and pictures may change slightly however this is more or less how the cover will look like.
